Welcome to the home of Vox Mortuum, artist and crochet designer.  I have many completely unique crochet patterns and plush dolls available to surprise and delight you.  This isn’t your mother’s arts and crafts.  I work mostly in the amigurumi style to create fantastic stuffed animals and characters you won’t find anywhere else.  Here I have centaurs, mermaids, angels and demons, unicorns, winged horses, characters from books and tales… I want to create a whole menagerie of natural and mythical beings worked in yarn.  Crochet in the round lends itself to a magnificent sculptural strength, making these dolls firm but cuddly – most of them able to stand under their own power and to enjoy years of love from their owners.  I think you’ll be amazed at the quality and depth of my patterns, and surprised and pleased at the variety my work can offer you.
