Demona Ball Jointed Tribute Doll – Gargoyles

This is a ball jointed crocheted doll of Demona from the Gargoyles cartoon. This was a huge project but worth it since she came out amazing. She stands just shy of 5 feet tall and has a 7 and a half foot wingspan!

Bender – Futurama

Bender Bending Rodríguez, designated Bending Unit 22, is a fictional robot character in the animated television series Futurama. He was created by series creators Matt Groening and David X. Cohen and is voiced by John DiMaggio. In the series, Bender plays the role of a comic anti-hero, and is described by Leela as an “alcoholic, whore-mongering, chain-smoking gambler”. He was built in Mexico and other characters refer to his “swarthy Latin charm”. He is, per his own testimony, prejudiced against non-robots, often expressing an urge to “kill all humans” except his best friend, Fry; however, he has also committed acts of kindness for humans and others, suggesting he is not truly as belligerent as he claims.

Momiji Sohma – Rabbit Form – Fruits Basket

Momiji Sohma, aged 15, is the rabbit of the Chinese zodiac. His father, one of the richer members of the Sohma family, is Japanese, while his mother is German (they speak German and Japanese in the manga, but only Japanese in the anime). Momiji is depicted as a cute, cheerful, androgynous boy who hides a sad family life behind his sunny demeanor. In an author’s note, Takaya described him as “the most comfortable” of the Sohmas with his spirit possession, and “the most successful of the boys.” Momiji is older than he initially appears, and Tohru is surprised to learn he is only a year younger than she is. To Kyo’s horror, Momiji wears the girl’s version of their high school uniform with shorts instead of a skirt, until he has a growth spurt at the start of his second year and switches to the boy’s uniform. He lives alone inside the Sohma family compound, and was raised by servants. His mother learned about the zodiac curse when she first held him, just after he was born, and was repulsed; she later had Hatori erase her memory that Momiji is her son. Because of this, his younger sister, Momo, is unaware he is her older brother, even though she is interested in him. Despite his upbringing, Momiji is insightful about others and emotionally strong. Momiji takes to Tohru very quickly, even hugging her when they are formally introduced despite his curse. He sometimes helps Tohru at her evening job as an office cleaner in one of his father’s buildings, and once substitutes for her when she is sick with a cold. He is very fond of Tohru, and even defies Akito to protect her. He later warns Kyo that if he does not act on his feelings for Tohru, someone else, such as himself, might steal her away; in the final chapter, Momiji tells Hatsuharu and Rin that he hopes to find a girlfriend as wonderful as Tohru. He plays the violin. Takaya derived his name from the ninth month of the traditional Japanese calendar, momijitsuki or “autumn leaves month”; he was supposed to have been named after the third month, the month of the rabbit, but according to the author, she mixed up his and Kureno’s positions in the zodiac. Pimp Anubis

Anubis is the Greek name for a jackal-headed god associated with mummification and the afterlife in Egyptian mythology. In the ancient Egyptian language, Anubis is known as Inpu, (variously spelled Anup, Anpu, and Ienpw). The oldest known mention of Anubis is in the Old Kingdom pyramid texts, where he is associated with the burial of the Pharaoh. At this time, Anubis was the most important god of the Dead but he was replaced during the Middle Kingdom by Osiris.

This particular version of Anubis is a commission piece come up with by a friend of ours. We think he looks very slick. =)

Cheshire Cat – Alice In Wonderland (Animated Version)

The Cheshire Cat is a fictional cat popularized by Lewis Carroll’s depiction of it in Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Known for his distinctive mischievous grin, the Cheshire Cat has had a notable impact on popular culture.

Alice first encounters it at the Duchess’s house in her kitchen, and then later outside on the branches of a tree, where it appears and disappears at will, engaging Alice in amusing but sometimes vexing conversation. The cat sometimes raises philosophical points that annoy or baffle Alice. It does, however, appear to cheer her up when it turns up suddenly at the Queen of Hearts’ croquet field, and when sentenced to death baffles everyone by having made its head appear without its body, sparking a massive argument between the executioner and the King and Queen of Hearts about whether something that does not have a body can indeed be beheaded.

At one point, the cat disappears gradually until nothing is left but its grin, prompting Alice to remark that she has often seen a cat without a grin but never a grin without a cat.

Optimus Prime – Transformers

Our apologies: we have no plans at this time to distribute this as a free pattern. If you have any other questions regarding this Tribute work, please feel free to email me at voxmortuum@gmail.com.

Optimus Prime is a fictional character from the Transformers franchise. He is the main protagonist and leader of the “heroic” faction (primarily the Autobots) in most of the various Transformers continuities. After his ship crashed on Earth, he remained unconscious for millions of years, then an earthquake on Tuesday, May 8, 1984, awoke the ship’s repair system, which then repaired him and adapted him to have the ability to transform to an Earth vehicle. He is the leader of the Autobots, a faction of heroic Transformers from the planet Cybertron who wage their battles to destroy the evil forces of the Decepticons. Optimus Prime is depicted as a heroic, brave and compassionate character who puts all his talent to use to improve the universe around him. Optimus has a strong sense of justice and righteousness, and has dedicated himself to the protection of all life, particularly the inhabitants of Earth; he will battle his foes with unyielding resolve.

From Wikipedia

This is a redesigned version of Optimus Prime. It’s been structurally reinforced and is much sturdier than the original version. However it’s still made with just yarn and stuffing! No plastic canvas or wires or anything similar were used. It’s still every bit as huggable as the original, and as you can see from one of the full shots it stands at just over 2 feet tall! Some other design tweaks were done also, such as changing the hands a bit. The pictures had to be taken outside in front of the garage because it was too big to do so with the usual set up. We’re very happy with how it came out.

Matt – Death Note

Matt, whose real name is Mail Jeevas, is a consort of Mello’s. A character in the manga and anime versions, Matt was also a former resident of Wammy’s orphanage; Ohba described him as the “third most talented member” of the house. Matt is Mello’s helper as Matt performs espionage work and acts as an accomplice in Takada’s kidnapping, which results in his death when he is shot by Takada’s bodyguards. He is voiced by Tomohiro Nishimura in the Japanese anime and by Drew Nelson in English dub.

According to How to Read, Matt enjoys video games and isn’t outgoing. He also seems to be a chain smoker. He uses his last breath to smoke his cigarette. He is also behind Near and Mello in succeeding L.

Ohba said that he created Matt because when Mello started to act alone Ohba believed that he would find difficulty in advancing the story unless Mello had a character to interact with. Ohba said that to a reader Matt may appear to play video games and have no other actions, but he said that Matt’s existence was “important” in the story. In response to a question inquiring about which characters the creators had the most difficulty creating, Ohba cited Matt and said “I didn’t even know what kind of person he was!”

Obata said that he did not receive advance notice regarding Matt, who had the character concept of “a young man who loves gaming and doesn’t really care much about the world.” Obata said that he remembered seeing the thumbnails and asking his editor “Who’s this character?!” The thumbnails gave Matt a bowl haircut and goggles; Obata instead drew “what I liked.” Obata added that he could “create Matt naturally” as he had a “he probably won’t do much” mentality regarding characters introduced in the Near and Mello arc. His birthday is February 1, 1990.

Alucard – Hellsing

Alucard is a fictional character in the Hellsing anime and manga series created by Kohta Hirano and is the main protagonist of the Hellsing franchise.

The most powerful member of the Hellsing organization, Alucard is no ordinary vampire, as it is implied he is the most powerful vampire currently in existence. He usually dresses in a Victorian fashion, including a charcoal suit, leather riding boots, and a flamboyant and intricately knotted red bowtie, covered by a long red over-coat. He also wears a red fedora hat with a wide, floppy brim and a pair of circular, heavily yellow tinted, wire-framed sunglasses. However, he does wear other outfits. He has a vast range of supernatural techniques and is an expert gunfighter, his enhanced strength allows him to wield pistols too heavy for regular mortals too handle. He fights with ferocity and often extreme cruelty, rarely shooting to kill until his target has been totally disabled and humiliated. He has a massive ego, and frequently gives enemies more than one chance to kill him before retaliating, if only to demonstrate his enormous powers. He is devoted to his master, Integra Hellsing, and gets along well with the butler Walter C. Dornez. He also has feelings of affection towards his fledgling, Seras Victoria.

Integra Hellsing – Hellsing

Lady Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing, more commonly, Integra Hellsing, is one of the main characters from the anime and manga series Hellsing. In both the TV series and OVA series, her Japanese voice is provided by Yoshiko Sakakibara and Kaori Mizuhashi (who plays young Integra), while her English voice in both is done by Victoria Harwood and Tricia Dickson. Her prototype appears as a Nazi in one of Kouta Hirano’s earlier works, HIANDLOW.

Lady Integra Hellsing is a 22-year-old noblewoman member of the Protestant Knights who is the head and last member of the Hellsing family, the Bureau Director of the Hellsing Organization, and the current master of Hellsing’s vampire, Alucard. Integra is usually a collected individual, rarely allowing her emotions to get in the way of business. However, she is sometimes prone to fits of anger. The Hellsing family is “on a mission from God,” and she values her duties to protect the United Kingdom and the Anglican Church above everything else. For her, failure is not tolerated, especially her own. She runs the Hellsing Organization with charisma and patriotism, and she is one of the few people who can stand up to the force of Alucard’s personality and command his respect.
