I am opening one commission slot — second one this year, I do believe. Price is $100 for the regular sized doll plus $10 shipping if you live in the US. Shipping will of course be different if you are one of my international friends, and if you want a doll the size of Bronx or the complexity of Optimus Prime I’ll need to work out a price in proportion to the upgrade.
This commission purchased will move to the very top of my list, and I will complete and ship it by 30 days after receipt of your payment. (Larger commissions, we’ll work out a proportionate time frame.)
To those that already have a commission with me currently, if you add $25 to the price (for a total of $135) not only will this new commission be complete before the end of 30 days, but I will also complete the pending commission doll of your choice. Say you’ve got Demona currently commissioned and now you’d like a Goliath (no OTP comments, please, I know everyone’s got their favorite flavors.
) — for the price of $135, which is effectively a new commission and a rush fee, you’ll get both completed and shipped inside of a month.
Anyone interested, please email me at voxmortuum@gmail.com and we’ll discuss things from there.
Hello all; long time, no post, I know. Life’s been interesting of late. First news is that I just got made level two at my Real Job(TM) — in less than 2 years employment, no less. Doing well-ish, making slightly more-ish, for practically being owned-ish. Becoming salaried means never having to say “overtime”. They’re supposed to be reasonable about it all, but I can still expect my crochet, commission, and pattern-writing time to be somewhat decreased. I’m still fighting the good fight but I’m having to relearn the balance between being a workaholic and attempting to keep some of my sanity.
I’m still making steady progress on my existing commissions, just not at the break-neck speeds I was meeting before.
Second news is that the Husband of Doom and I will be moving into a new apartment in mid-June (you know, just when you want to be moving heavy objects outside during the day in the South. *sighs*) so my crochet and pattern-writing time between now and then will be *heavily* depleted in favor of organizing/reducing/packing our belongings in an attempt to make uprooting the least amount of anxiety and irritation possible.
Nothing terribly bad — most of it in the end pretty decent — but I wanted to go ahead and give a reason for the silence. Stuff out here in Vox Land just got real.
Jack Sparrow was an infamous pirate captain in the Caribbean, most notably in command of the Black Pearl. The son of Captain Teague, Jack was born onboard a ship caught in the middle of a typhoon. At some point in his career Jack obtained the title of Pirate Lord, his domain being the Caribbean Sea. Over the course of time Jack became the stuff of legend and many tales were told of his exploits, most of these tales however were fabrications concocted by Sparrow to bolster his reputation. Despite his many deceptions though, Jack did embark on a great number of adventures many of these involved the supernatural, and indeed Jack’s ultimate ambition was to achieve immortality, and the freedom to sail the seven seas as a pirate for eternity.
